"The Still House"

The Still House reflects a philosophy of quiet living — creating space for calm, intention, and the beauty found in simple rituals.

“Still” is a reminder to pause.
To breathe.
To return to yourself.
It represents the quiet moments where healing begins — in a cup of tea, a bar of handmade soap, a living succulent growing softly in the corner of your home. It honours slowness, presence, and the grounding power of everyday rituals.

“House” speaks to belonging and care.
A place where warmth is created, where small joys are noticed, and where meaningful objects are made by hand and offered with heart. It reflects a home — not of walls, but of feelings — where simplicity, comfort, and mindful living come together.

Together, The Still House captures the essence of a life lived gently:
where calm becomes a practice,
where beauty is quiet,
and where thoughtful creations bring peace to both body and soul.

About Us

A Journey in Stillness

I didn’t plan to make tea.
I didn’t expect soap to become a part of healing.
And I never imagined that succulents — small, quiet, resilient — would find their way into my hands too.
But life has a gentle way of guiding us—quietly, naturally.

I found tea first.
Not through trends or rituals,
but in the quiet of my mornings, steeped slowly
as a way to breathe, to pause, to feel present.

For two years, I studied tea with curiosity and care.
Not just as a drink, but as a moment of stillness.
A soft invitation to return home to myself.
And from there, everything began to shift.

Soap came earlier—handmade, natural, pure.
At first, I made it simply because I believed in better things.
I wanted to share something good, something kind.
A product that was honest and clean.
Nothing loud. Nothing rushed.
Just love shaped into a bar of soap.

Then came succulents — quietly, like a friend who doesn’t need an introduction.
I learned that they don’t ask for much,
yet they hold so much life within them.
They grow in silence.
They thrive in simplicity.
They remind us that resilience can be soft,
and beauty can be slow.

As I worked with tea, soap, and succulents,
I began to see what they were truly offering:

A gentle return to the self.
A way to let go.
A reason to slow down.
A reminder that healing doesn’t need to be loud—
it can grow quietly, leaf by leaf, moment by moment.

Tea became stillness from within.
Soap became the transition—from outside in.
Succulents became symbols of enduring calm,
the small living sculptures that tell us:
you can thrive gently, too.

Three simple rituals.
Three companions on the path back to meaning.

I don’t follow the market.
I don’t rush to keep up.
I stay close to what’s true—
and that truth is care.

Care in what I create.
Care in what I offer you.
Care for the life we’re all trying to make
a little softer, a little slower, a little more meaningful.

So here I am—still.
Still making.
Still loving.
Still growing beauty in quiet ways.
Still sharing the gentle things that help us feel alive.

With love,
Amy Pham

Amy’s Journey: Guided by the Ancient Shan Camellia Sinensis Tea Trees

(Camellia sinensis var. assamica)

Amy’s journey into tea was never planned. It unfolded gently, as if tea itself had been waiting for the right moment to find her.

In 2022, Amy felt a quiet calling within. Without planning, knowing no one, and with no clear path, she joined a tea master class—trusting only her intuition. That single step opened a door that would transform her life.

Through the Australian Tea Master program, Amy discovered the intricate world of tea. She earned her certification, and a spark ignited—one that led her across borders and deeper into the heart of tea culture.

Japan: The First Awakening

Her path first led her to Japan, where she earned a second certification in Japanese tea. She witnessed the artistry, precision, and profound respect that shaped every leaf.
A visit to a tea farm revealed an essential truth: tea is not just a drink— it is a connection between the land, the craftsman, and the soul.

Vietnam: The Sacred Encounter

But it was in Vietnam where something ancient awakened inside her.
In the mist-covered highlands of northern Vietnam, Amy encountered the legendary Shan Ancient Camellia Sinensis tea trees. These magnificent trees—hundreds of years old—grow wild in remote, high-altitude forests. Their deep roots and silvery buds carry centuries of history and quiet wisdom.
Amy was mesmerised.
The tea from these ancient trees tastes naturally sweet and gentle—without bitterness or astringency. Each sip felt like breathing in the mountains themselves: pure, calm, and timeless.
Days spent tasting tea from these sacred trees revealed more than flavour—they revealed a story of resilience, heritage, and the quiet strength of nature. This became her inspiration.

Tea became her teacher.

A Path Toward Stillness

Through tea, Amy found inner peace, presence, and connection. It guided her back to herself and opened her heart to the world.

Today, she curates a collection of handpicked teas from Shan ancient forests and other rare Vietnamese regions—inviting tea lovers to experience not just flavour, but stillness, heritage, and meaning.

Her experience can be captured in her own words:

"Tea brings our hearts back to ourselves, connects hearts to others, and unites souls from afar. Even across vast distances, beautiful souls can find one another in peace and calm."

The Succulent Connection: Growth in Stillness

As Amy deepened her journey into tea and quiet living, succulents found their way into her hands—softly and naturally. She was drawn to their resilience:
how they grow slowly,
how they thrive with little,
how they carry life quietly within their leaves.

Succulents became another teacher on her path toward stillness. They reminded her that:
– growth doesn’t need noise
– beauty can be simple
– resilience can be soft
– life can flourish in calm

Through The Still House, Amy now creates succulent art pieces that reflect these lessons—living sculptures that bring peace, grounding, and gentle energy into the home.

Tea taught her stillness.
Succulents taught her resilience.
And what began as a quiet journey into natural living grew into something larger— a home where calm, beauty, and meaningful rituals can gently come together.
